that has happened to me also. Thinking I'm on manual mode and I shift and end up being on neutral.
These are alot of small details to think about while accelerating uncontrollably down the freeway at ~90 mph.
Yeah that's what surprises me is that there are the obvious things to do if this occurs, but why hasn't Toyota come out saying if you experience this problem do x, y, and z? Maybe they have, because I wouldn't have searched for it, but haven't heard about it either.NHTSA needs to come out with a PSA telling people to put into neutral if they experience any throttle sticking.

The mandate is you must be able to shift from drive to neutral and back without having to hit the brake to release an interlock.
