Rubber/Retailer Recommendation- GTR wheels

Thanks to a few for their tire size recommendations, I've decided to run 265/50 fronts 295/45 rears for my GTR wheels. The two tire brands I've seen used are Hankook Ventus ST's and Yokahama Parada Spec-X. Anyone have a retailer they would recommend to purchase from, based off experience or connection? I've done some homework online and get mixed return of costs but found onlinetires.com to be the cheapest, $135 for the Ventus and $140 for Parada, with $65 for shipping for all four. Or if anyone else has a recommendation for rubber, feel free to chime in.

I had the Kooks on my GTR's, and I now have the Parada's on my HRE's.

I'd like to say that I prefer the Kooks, BUT I can't say definitely, in the period between having my GTR's on and my HRE's, the wheel went to 22", the suspension went from H&R's to air suspension, and I went from staggered to square. So I can't directly compare the two.

I will say that I much prefer how the Kooks look, in terms of aesthetics.

I've had the parada's and now have toyo proxes ST II. The parada's have a softer feel and quiter ride, but i like the tread pattern of the toyos. The toyos give a bit of a more sporty ride. They're all good tires from what i've read, so it all comes down to what you're looking for. I'll probably stick with the toyos myself.

Paradas are the best imo. The kooks always felt hard and actually wore out with bad camber way to quickly. Last few sets i ordersed were from discounttiredirect.com

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated. Using onlinetire.com for some Toyo Proxes ST I's. Spent $540 with free shipping, hopefully everything goes as planned, I'll keep you posted.

I buy all my tires from discount tires direct, ask for (Wyatt) he's been there a long time and will discount. Anyway, I have yet to beat their prices and the price listed on site is the price you pay with shipping included. Also, I recommend calling to order and talk to Wyatt, if you push a little he will throw in tire certificates on the tires, meaning a replacement tire for pretty much anything! I have bought numerous tires from them and have used the certificates twice. Meaning, one time I had picked up some nails here and there and the tire had been patched twice already, the other time I hit a peice of steel on the hwy and blow a tire, in both cases, the charged me 20 bucks to put certificates on the new tires and they were on my doorstep the NEXT day! Also, unlike the other dealers, you don't have to send the old one back and there isn't any proration bullshit!
On another note, I have had hankooks on my FX as well as my truck. Both sets I had balancing issues, theories on the fx I swapped for Yokohama's the truck tires I finally ended up having them shaved! Go with the yokohama's you will be allot happier with the end result! I hope this helps, good luck!

I had Yokos in the past and was very satisfied. Heard lots of good things about Hankook too. Maybe go with the one that has higher treadwear rating between the two. With either Ventus or Paradas, you can't go wrong!

Im on Pirelli P0 Rosso assemetric 295/20/40 on all four corners - the model selection on a few OEM Ferraris as I understand. Highest quality tire I could find... and the price tag reflects that. Purchased from Performance Plus Tire in Long Beach, CA.
