2003 FX35 - 209,000 miles. Engine ran smooth until I broke an engine mount in January. The driver's side of the motor would rock upward about 2" so I figured that a hose or electrical connection was compromised. After fixing engine mount I inspected and found no compromised hose or electrical connection.
The car starts right up every time. The rough idle lasts for less than 10 min but it is pronounced enough to vibrate the inside mirror. blur the image, and make it rattle (well, only at a specific resonant RPM.)
New battery.
OEM plugs (PLFR5A) with 90K miles (checked the plug closest to passenger side headlight and it is a tan-grey color).
Throttle Body looks clean except for a thin ring of carbon buildup around the throttle plate.
Any clues?
How to clean and recalibrate the TB?
