Rotating tires

Hey guys, When I bought my fx I bought brand new tires now the on board cpu is telling me they need to be rotated...
I'll be doing this sometime soon I guess.. My question is, is it just fronts to back, backs to fronts, thats it?

Do I have to do anything else at all?
And also, How would I reset the cpu so it stops blinking...when I'm done with the rotation?

Pattern C for non-directional tires, Pattern D for directional, unless staggered wheels.

Rotation pattern D is okay for all kinds of tires. I always rotate with pattern D since you can save time as well just by lifting one side.

If you are not sure of the style of tire a pic would be good of the tread pattern as stated above. Your sidewall might also tell you if they are directional or not.

Yea they are directional, they were rotated yesterday. Not I have to reset the cpu.
Another quick question, is it 3000 miles for a rotation or 7500?
Manual said 75, cpu says 3k.. .any input?

I usually do mine around 7500. Not sure about the 05's, but 06 and later you can change the intervals on the cpu.

You can go into the Maintenance menu and change it to 7500

7500 is the norm but if you love rotating tires at every oil change it wouldn't hurt nothing (just a lot of work).
