These just arrived along w the carbon finer pieces that have already been posted. Not sure which route to go.

The body shop I'm having do some paint corrections was also going to remove the roof racks for me. They just called to say they won't be able to complete the job. Apparently the carbon fiber covers don't even cover both holes in the roof.b374a93302c70bed0cf9eb379ae56694.jpg

They also said that those two holes open to the whole roof, so theres no way to fill just that small area with something to prevent leaks.

I saw a photo on here somewhere that looked like it was a single hole with a thread in the middle. Did they change the design at some point?

I'm close to giving up on the roof rack removal, even though I really prefer the look without them.

Anyone have any first hand experience removing their racks on a 2013 50?

Here's a shot of the small single hole covers installed. I've got a very good seal against the hood. Only way these are going to leak is if I were to submerse the car in water.

So those aren't the ones from the Russian eBay seller? What did you use to secure them? 3m tape? thanks for the help!

3M tape. I used a single piece that was cut in half lengthwise. All I did was follow the edges and notch the inside of the corners so that the tape wouldn't bunch up. It was really easy.
