Roof Graphics??

I know this may get me Flamed on here, but i see these Minis etc with cool roof graphics.

What are your opinions on roof graphics on a fx?? I know it is higher so it wont be over bearing to look at. most people prob wont notice.
I have a dg. about to be lowered and railless. I am thinking about a nicely designed black dragon between the roof lines behind the sunroof.

Please post your opinions good or bad. I know it is a luxury vehicle. I am 28, and i teach Taekwondo-so i like alot of asian design. So it would fit my personalty and my job.

never seen it done before. go for yours man. if its tastefully dont i bet it will look good. i want to do an all black vinyl overlay on my roof. like the "black top" that was posted on another thread.
 
I liked that black top as well. this would probably be less noticeable than all black, yet maybe more interesting if noticed

I say go for it. Just like christopher said, as long as it is done tastefully.

It's your FX and if you want to do it then go for it.

is it going to be the same with all the yellow shading or just all black?
 
I think it would look good on the DG. You will be able to see it, but it will still be somewhat subtle
 
I dont think any graphic would look good. The mini's get away with it cause they are "cute".


having a dragon .... are you going to have Chinese characters also?
 
no chinese characters. just a dragon. alot of people have graphics that tie into their business. my martial arts school has dragons on some of our merchandise. it ties in with my business also

the black fxs with the brand name graphics that has been on here looked great. it was subtle and tastefully dine in my opinion. i am well aware some of you are going to say do not do it. i wanted some feedback!!

wish i took a pic, but at local ikea I spotted a fx35 (blue) with 2 orange racing stripes up the hood, accross the roof, and down the tailgate. The one time i forgot my fone at home. FRIGGIN HIDEOUS! I was in a rush but wanted to wait outside for the owner and smack some sense into him....

i'm not joking either. picture it, wait don't u'll have nightmares.
 
Tall people would see it. like me! and a few in other vehicles. it would not compare to racing stripes on the hood and tailgate in my opinion
 
Please no. I know you want to represent your business, and you probably take a lot of pride in it, but that's tacky. theMerchant is absolutely right. The Mini Cooper is a cutesy car, so if you want to go one step further in the "soccer mom car" insult, put vinyls on :frown:

But if you will accompany it with your business name/location, that'd make it all good because now it's advertising, not making it cutesy.

even if you say graphics =no, would you think this would be overly tacky? few people would even notice. only very observant people
