In order to remove the inner door skin, the window glass need to be removed. Oh look, Infiniti nice enough to slap two tiny piece of sound deadening material on the door. The other piece is hiding by the door handle.

Wow!!
Major interior tear down. I bet it is nice and quiet now, and it looks great.

Dynamat the doors makes the closing and open so much more solid then before. It adds about 2 lbs to each door. I would say its 95% coverage of the door skin.

Damn, RIP's getting a sweet new ride when it makes its way back to Cali.

Holy Sh!nizzles!! That looks sick! That dynamat looks so good. How much did you need to do all that? I think I wanna jump on that. And gotta love dual sub boxes! Digging those handle LEDs! You've done it again Andy!

Great work. You're a good guy

+1 Andy is awesome in every way. Dude is super nice and caring. A lifetime friend for me. Without his knowledge and expertise my fx wouldn't be what it is today. Thanks for everything Andy :)

Andy probably welcomes working on such a pristine and new car.

I spent two hours today replacing some old plastic clips that I had broken (a huge pet peeve of mine to leave like that).

On the other hand I opened up my friends brand new 370z to replace some lights, and a couple minor mods, and it was such a joy with all the brand new-ness of everything.

I'm looking forward to seeing You and Your FX when you get back to Cali!

Thanks for the kind words guys. It is the passion in me with these cars, I treat every car that I work on as its mine.
meme is right on with working on new car. Not one clip, not one clip was broken with taking all those trims apart; the plastic clips are still fresh and pliable. Working under the a car loosening the bolts was a joy too. All bolts comes off without any fights at all.

She's all ready to head back to Cali. :smile (2):
