rim color

just wanted to put this out there to help me make a decison. To make a long story short i have just been given the option to have a four rims painted any color i want
the rims are the 2007 18 inch stock. i was thinking of a silver chrome color that they showed me on a e55 amg . what do you guys think

sorry i forgot to mention the car color is the platinum graphite (grey)

I would go with Hyper Black (Dark Silver) or a gunmetal colour.

Being that color FX i'd personally do this http://www.innate.com/Paint/Chrome/HyperBlack.htm. I think the grey with dark rims would look mint.
I'm doing my 21's like this over the winter and a few other items on the fx also (vents in fender and possibly all the door handles)

totally agree with Jmess, that oem Nissan wheel looked sweeeeet.

Depends what kind of look you are trying to achieve

black - if you want a cool dont mess with me look

gunmetal grey if you want something close to oem, but different.

gold if your really feening a change hehe

have to admit the innate hyperblack chrome looks good have you gotten any quotes yet?

Haven't called them yet but they do have pricing on their website. All depends on how much paint/clear you'll need for it. I'm going to a local body shop to get an estimate on how much they'll charge and how much paint I'll need. I'm guessing the quart kit to be safe which is $250 (qt of hyperblack/qt of chrome clear). I'll let you know what they say. I was going to get them powdercoated black but everyone does that. You never hear of anyone having black chrome.

just thought i would add this, the color they suggested for my rim is also the same rim color that is on the mb glk 350 with the sport package with 20 inch five spoke rims. Almost looks like chrome has anyone seen this color and what do you think.
