I tried replacing the HID bulb but that didn't fix the problem. I think it may be a fuse or relay but I have no idea where they are hidden. Can anyone help me? I have an 06 FX35

Thanks

Richard

may be the fuse, may be the ballast. I've had so much trouble with HIDs I've almost given up

Probably the ballast. Couldn't be the fuse cause the left and ride side headlights both run on one fuse together. If it was the fuse, both sides would be burned out. Not just the right side like your having. It has to be the ballast. Also check the connections and plugs as something could be loose.

not true, actually. The fog lights run off a group of fuses, not individual ones. If one of the (3 think it is) blows, it may do something like cut power to one light, or kill both, etc. I had the same issue with mine blowing fuses....I just put a higher amp fuse in and it's been OK since then, besides acting up the day before I left for the UK:smug:

Seems like a bad ballest to me. If you have a test light test the power wire going to the ballest under the headlight housing. Turn on your headlights and test the power wire. Test lights up then it's the ballest. If not, you have a fuse issue. Take the test light and try to poke through the jacket on the wire.
