Reviving a tired 2011 FX50S "build thread"

The FX50 has been doing great, aside from some wonky behavior when the new/reman alternator went bad after a few hundred miles of driving. I reinstalled the original OEM alternator and it has been great ever since. We took it on a long trip to the beach over the summer and it was flawless and very enjoyable. The new starter and related work has completely solved the intermittent no start problem and the parasitic drain as well. I've pretty much just been driving and enjoying it. Unfortunately my repair of the rear diff bushing did not solve the clunk as I initially thought it did. I replaced the dashboard with a crack-free one I found, which was quite the experience, and I'm almost ready to repair the split driver's seat. And I just got done installing new front pads and rotors. Hopefully I'll have it ready to sell within the next two months, as I'll need the money for a big garage renovation!

Nice, sounds like all that work paid off. Did you replace the BCM? If so, did you have to reprogram it?

The previous owner had it replaced with a used unit due to water damage, and had the dealer reprogram it.
