Is there a way to reduce the reverse camera's brightness? My video comes out really bright, and I can hardly see anything

Also, for the 08 models, is there a way to program in auto door-locks for my fx once it is in motion? I played around with the settings and didn't see anything

Worst case would be you'd have to tint your lens to cut any glare. that is if your setting can't be adjust to decrease the brightness.

get LED license plate bulbs... that reduced the brightness for me (also tinted the background orange) but yes like the doc said there is a place to adjust all the setting of the rear camera... and to take pics with it

I can not stand the auto door lock feature. I understand if you have kids or something, but I hate it.
I also never use the auto headlights. I don't know why, I am just used to turning the lights on and off myself.

My first week with my 1st FX, it locked me out, & waited for AAA to rescue me. It was 2 in the morning, & the car was running for close to two hours before they could jimmy the door. They also scratched the hell out of the interior with the hanger they used. The FX is very hard to get into outside of breaking glass. Glad that original car with all the scratches is gone. I used it for roughly a month.
Anyway, lights & locks can be set to manual. That's the first thing I did after that episode.

Luckly, I turned off auto relock, realizing, since it's me, lock out was imminent, then I had some keys made. You can copy your key for 2 bucks at Home Depot or some key shops have blanks that fit Nissan/ Infiniti. They are like the "wallet" key that comes w/ the car, won't start it but gets you in the door, $2 NOT $18 ! AAA used a hanger ??? WHAT ???
