Resonator Delete - Vibration?

Hey there,

I have my 21" stock wheels on with the stock summer tires.
I purchased my car exactly 11months ago.

I seem to have some slight vibration when i get on the highway, I don't know if its because of the road or because i just do have vibration.

The only thing that my car is different from 11months ago is the resonator delete mod that I had done in the winter.
And during the winter, let's say I wasn't really paying attention of this slight vibration nor was I able to drive fast like right now. (Also I had another set of wheels on which caused even more vibration)

Do you think it may be because of the resonator delete?
My tire pressure in all 4 tires are at about 33psi.
The slight vibration i feel is sortof like when you hold a blow dryer kinda feeling? maybe not as strong, but something around there...

Anyways, thanks for your input!

I doubt its due to the deletion of the resonator. Could be alignment or need to rebalance the tires.

Thanks for input.

Is it normal to feel the steering have some sort of vibration though? like it doesn't twist and turn.. its as if you feel the rocks you go over through the steering... just like when you're holding a blowdryer kind of thing... Am I suppose to feel that or i'm not at all?

I mean i tried my brothers car (ford focus), parents' car (s550) and they all seem to have this vibration that I'm talking about. However not as strong...

Everything on the car is stock... I don't recall feeling this vibration when I purchased it, the only thing that's different is the tire pressure and the wheels placement maybe?

I believe they are balanced since I haven't even unmounted them since i got them from factory.

Anyways, i'll pass by dealership see what they say

FX's are known to have this "hard/rough" feel in the steering when going over bad roads. You have to remember its not a lexus but if you experience vibrations even on smooth roads than there definitely something wrong.

yeah, I kinda have that feeling its just that I can't have a relative comparison sortof...

Can increasing or decreasing the tire pressure affect this as well? if so which way will tend to affect which?

Thanks

probably something natural that you didn't expect from a FX but since it has different suspension and everything is amplified to make the ride feel harsh,

Take the car to Meridien Infiniti on Jean-Talon. Go to Service and ask for Tony. Tell him Scott sent you. He'll take a look at it, should be no charge, just tell me when you head over there and i"ll give him a heads up.

thanks for the input guys.

Cheechitup88, i'll try from where i got it first (laval) then if they don't seem to care i'll take it to meridien and let u know, thanks!
But does that mean that you don't feel what i feel? I mean a good comparison would be your car since we ride on the same bumpy montreal roads... the worst feel is when i get on the 40 east pas Henri Exit where the highway is made differently, dunno if you know what i'm talking about...

anyways, i'll keep you guys posted.

Tires will have a lot to do with it especially if the tread is wearing thin you will feel and notice more of the road conditions. Air pressure will also have some affect.
