Reset trip 1 & 2

Hi Guys I'm trying to reset (bring back to zero) my trip 1 & 2 (on dash info screen) I did few times using the rest on the screen. it goes to zero and start counting time, mph etc... from zero but when I switch off the engine & start back it have the same old reading on trip 1 & 2.
it want save any new reading on the memory, is there another way to rest trip 1 & 2?

that's wierd....once you reset it it shouldn't go back to the number it had before the reset.....are you sure it's not just displaying your new number?
 
yes guys I'm 100% sure, I did it few hours ago but when I start it tomorrow it will be back to same reading. please HELP.......:sad::k::zip:
