One of the LEDs in my rear tail light as burned out and it is causing my left blinker to blink very fast. Has anyone replaced a single LED or do most folks just replace the entire housing? Would prefer not to do that due to cost. Would even consider opening it up and bypassing the burned out LED... Thanks for any input!

The tail light on the FX meant to be replace as a whole unit. Of course you can hack into it by cutting the outer lens of the light to gain access to the LED and replace the burnt ones. Once you open it up, you still need to get the proper LED so that brightness will match up with the rest of the LED on the light. I can give some LED if you go this route.

Replace the whole tail light is the easiest. There are plenty of the standard red ones all over ebay. If they're the clear sport version, Jeff (fxlr8) posted up a good deal a couple days ago in the Deal on other Sites V.2 thread.

I saw that. I'll keep an eye out at the local pull a part and ebay to get a used one. It is the clear/sport version, so may be a bit more difficult to come across, but shouldnt be terrible.
