Haha ull be happy with morimoto's. There is nothing but good reviews on those bulbs

Any update on your feelings towards the Osram bulbs after full break in?

I am between the morimoto 6000k, Osram 5000k and now (thanks to this thread) the Garax 6000k bulbs.

Anyone with more recent information on the quality of these bulbs please chime in...
 
I was under the impression osram were the best. A few members have reported problems with morimoto bulbs in the last 1-2 years. I know of at least one member that had both and said osram was dramatically better. Not sure about Garax....first time hearing about them.
 
I feel Osram is the best if performance, quality, and function is on top of your list. If your use to using 6000K an like that color don't get Osram CBI's.

Everyone is wanting a little blue in the color and the Osrams dont provide that. People who are reporting that these look yellow are using them in OEM projectors that have bad color flicker to them. In a clear lens you can see the true color of the Osrams.

These are popular on hidplanet because the serve more function than looks. But yes the color is better than stock. And the beam pattern is wider.

By the way the Garax is 6000K which is 2800 lumens.

OEM Phillips 4300K is 3200 lumens which makes using any 6000K (Garax) a 400 lumen loss.

Osram CBI's are 3400 lumens at 5000K in full 60+ hour burn in.
 
I guess il post here since its active. For the dome light how do we remove the lense? Remove the side closer to the mirror first the sides or the front closer towards the seat?

Yes .... It does seem as if Osrams are indeed the best out there right now but unfortunately they don't have 6k bulbs which I much prefer. Both Morimotos and Garaxs have 6K thus why I'll be getting them and for the price of each set their still half the price of the Osrams.

If and when Osrams comes out with 6k's then ill jump on those :)
