Replace Factory Seat w/Momo Seat?

child seats need to be extremely tight, you should put your knee into it with all your weight & really clench it down as tight as you can, compressing the seat foam as much as you can. I used to use a few folded up beach towels underneath to avoid marks in the leather, but if you don't make them this tight then it is very dangerous in an accident, in a side collision especially... most car seats I see are WAAAAAAYYYY too loose, your not trying to keep a bag of groceries from sliding around, your trying to protect the most important thing in the world to you, yes, even more important than your fancy leather seats:tongue:
 
You also want to look for styrafoam head protection for side impact. even my boosters have them, which is why I went with the ones I got. Recaro looks like a cool seat, but I've always gone with Britax. They are the most expensive, & they're quite heavy. But you get what you pay for.
Come to think of it, You want one? I have a very clean & gently used one that I can give you. It's a bit bigger than what you need right now, but as Madeline grows, so does the seat. LMK
 
Ya, they're great. The centers are faux suede, & they each have 2 pull out hup holders. fits the FX look perfectly, with IPOD / M&M :err: organizer in the center
