Repainting my wheels

So I purchased my fx with 22 inch tis 07's which are all chrome, not a big fan of to much chrome so I am considering redoing the color. My fx is white and I was considering having my rims done in all black or keepng my lip in chrome and just repainting the center black. Any thoughts on this

I would just go with the centers and keep the lip chrome if you want blk. What about white same as the body color? Might look very nice and clean but I would like to see the wheels you are refering to. Any pics?

i am not a fan of chrome also. did all black wheels. couldn't be happier. matter of preference. chrome lip sounds about right.

id go with drews suggestion, black spoke, white lip. or white spoke, chrome or black lip.

So many options.....chrome center with a black lip is gaining in popularity. If it's a black/ chrome thing you may be considering you can get some temporary rattle can bra paint, mask it off, spray it ,and see what you think. After you are done just pressure wash it off.

When I wanted to redo chrome rims a while back (they were leaking air) quotes to strip and repaint/PC came in quite high.... Might be better off selling and getting a set you already like IMO

option 1: flat black center, gloss black lips
option 2: gloss black center and lips, white line around the lip edge
option 3: Plasti Dip flat black everything- removeable

tis are stainless lips anyway so just paint the centers

Are you going to paint them yourself? If so what type of paint are you going to use to do this? I was thinking about doing this to my wheels.

He's in Cali from what I can tell -- stripping chrome and repainting, CA is the place to be and prices are competitive.

You can always sandblast and powdercoat, but the results may not be as good since the surface may not be smooth.

I have black rims with white lips and love it. I have to clean the lips 1-2 times a week though, so beware!
