2. THE LOWER TRIM WILL HAVE "1" 5/16 NUT ON EACH FAR END SIDE WITH "2" RED CLIPS ON THE INSIDE OF THE TRIM RED CIRCLES ARE THE 5/16 NUTS & YELLOW CIRCLES ARE THE CLIPS. DONT WORRY ABOUT THE PUSH CLIPS TILL YOU LIFT THE TWO EDGES OF THE TRIM UP. USE THE FLAT HEAD SCREWDRIVER AND PLACE IT AS CLOSE AS YOU CAN TO THE CLIP FROM THE OUTSIDE AND TWIST IT USING THE FORSE FROM THE TRIM AND THE HATCH TO BREAK THE CLIP LOOSE. THIS WILL KEEP YOUR TRIM FROM DAMAGING AND YOUR CLIP FROM BREAKING.

ALSO REMINDER! IF YOUR PLANNING ON TINTING YOUR TAILLIGHTS THIS IS THE TIME TO DO IT BECAUSE YOU WILL HAVE "1" 10MM NUT TO TAKE OUT YOUR REVERSE LIGHTS BEHIND THE HATCH PANEL.

No hatch panels need to be removed to take off the reverse lights

thats right there is that cover that gains access to the nut huh. there is also a 10mm nut behind the hatch panel that is inline with the reverselights but it is not to take off the tails. good catch
