Remove front emblem from grille?

Anyone know how to remove the front emblem from the grille? I thought that I read somewhere that it was screwed onto the grille and you were able to access that screw once you remove the grill. I'm looking at the back of the grill right now and it does not appear to be screwed onto the grille. I can see two holes where the guides that help install the emblem are poking through but no way to remove the emblem. I was going to respray my grille gloss black but I want to paint the emblem flat black.

On the 1st Gen, the emblem is glued to the grill. So you use a heat gun around it, as you carefully pry the emblem off the grille

2nd gen- Look on the back side of the grill. one bolt holding it in place. I just painted my whole grill so I didn't have to take it off.
 
Really? Thanks. It must be in a really awkward spot because I swear I looked a felt around really well and I could find and bolts. I guess I'll pull the grille off next week so I can get a better look.
 
I just took a look at mine (it's off the car :) ) and it looks like it must be held on with some type of adhesive. The only thing visible from the back side are 2 alignment pins...

Yes! i believe the only ones that come attached with two small philips screws are the ones that have the camera. Mine had teo screws and came right off.

Yep, that's exactly how mines looks, that sucks, I was hoping to be able to remove it without having to deal with replacing adhesive tape. Sometimes it's a pain in the ass to get the an emblem to look factory again after removing double sided adhesive. That's why some shops just order a new emblem when they are forced to remove them, then they can just stick on the new ones with no hassle. I re-taped all the emblems on my rear hatch after they painted and firstly i had to use the 5lb 3M tape since it looks more black the the original then I had to use an exacto blade and scissors to cut it precise so it didn't look sloppy........ pain in the ass. After the fact I found out they sell really thin 3m double sided taper that probably would have worked just as good, I've since used it on another non-Infiniti emblem that has held up for two years so far.

All the 2nd Gen Fx's have a front camera as far as I know of. Do you mean your camera mount is actually in your grill?
