Remote with trunk button

Hey guys I'm about to but a remote , but while I was looking on eBay , I saw that they sell a 3 button remote , to open the trunk, but my factory remote doesn't have the 3 button, my question it is possible to adapt it ?
 
its possible to do any think if you have the time and money to put in it. but your fx did not come with remote open and closing of your trunk door. you can still get the remote and use that third function for something else.
 
My personal opinion...I don't see a real good purpose of the trunk button. All it does is to unlock/lock the trunk instead push the unlock button twice to unlock all doors and trunk. Its not like our car has a power hatch where a dedicated button will be golden in that case.
