Remote on/off stops working frequently

This is an ongoing problem for me, the factory remotes started to stop working so i replaced the battery, worked for a couple of weeks before it started again.
Replaced the battery again and pattern repeated itself.
I ended up carrying the spare batteries in the car as a backup.
I finally gave up and bought some OEM remote`s and got them programmed, they worked beautifully for a month and now they started doing it again and none of the keys will work - interestingly the only button which works is the Alarm button.
At times i can open the remove and clip it back and it will work for a couple of days then stop again.
Is this something wrong with the car, something failing that's causing this issue, i find it hard to believe it is a unique issue for my 2017 qx70s.
Any advice from masters here is highly appreciated.

Hi, that's a very strange issue to have but the fact the alarm button works is interesting. Might be by design.

We need to assess a few things here.

What batteries are being used? Brand and are they genuine and not fakes (Yes they exist).

Be good to measure the voltage of a new battery and a battery when it stops working.

Is there a particular set of scenarios where this occurs? Sounds like it clockwork every month.

If you remove the battery, wait 10 seconds and put the battery back in, does it start working?

There's a key fob/remote slot just below the side mirror control switch, if you insert your key there, does the key fob/remote start working? Could be a sync issue with the car's end.

If you manually open the car with the actual metal key in the driver side door slot, then lock the doors through the inside door lock button, does the remote work then?

Need to narrow possible causes as there's a few things at play.

Hope this helps!
