Relocated stock screen

I have a question for those of you who relocated your stock screen to where the clock *used to be*

What did you use for the paneling around the newly relocated screen? Did you cut/trim the clock bezel that originally went there or did you fiberglass a panel to fit?

I had my cousin make a fiberglass replica of the clock bezel and I was going to cut and trim it to fit the relocated screen, but in the midst of the motor work it got lost and probably thrown away by one of the shops.

Now I'm thinking about just using the aluminum clock bezel piece because I feel bad that my cousin's work went down the toilet all because I left the piece in the car... any suggestions?

Mine was just cut from the original clock bezel. Cheap to replace if putting the clock back in there too.

well i have some pictures that might help but flxr8's screen looks realy good dunno how he did it. but u can view my pictures and hopefully it ll give u some idea. i used garmin streetpilot 7200.
