Recommendations to reduce body roll/sway

Just picked up a 2017 QX70S after a 2+ year search and now it’s time to improve some qualities of the car.

One of the things I’d like to improve on is reducing the body roll/sway of the car while keeping the stock shocks/springs.

Has anyone installed a front strut bar and experienced any noticeable improvement? I believe the G37 Cusco bar fits our QX70?

Are there any recommended front or rear sway bar options? I haven’t found any options or feedback on this yet.

I have installed strut bar (GTspec) on my QX70S. Car feels more planted in cornering, nose doesnt dive in as without strut bar.
If you find very rare mid brace (let me know as well :)) that would make complete picture what you can do on that part without lowering the car.

I have also installed the front strut, it feels like stiffening the shocks (as in sport mode). Turning reaction is quicker, but more understeer appear. I am considering lowering the shocks by 20 mm as in the Vettel Edition (same spring rate), as this is one of most effective ways to reduce body roll. Rear bracings are also to be considered. Please bear in mind, the bracings also reduce ride comfort.

Interesting note about more understeer. I've put less than 100 miles on the car so far and I haven't tried to push this car through any twisties or sharp turns yet. Not sure I want to introduce more understeer, how does the balance of the car feel to you?

Do you have the stock suspension? Can you lower stock shocks in this car?

Interesting that upgrading the bushings made a big difference as I wouldn't have thought that... What brand did you go with? Link?

How many miles were on your stock bushings? Were they shot?

I may just add lateral locks on the bars since no aftermarket bars appear to be available.

Upgrade to polyurethane sway bar bushings, made a big difference on mine and was cheap.

i went with siberian bushings, they are one of the few that make parts for our cars. I bought on amazon for 20-30 dollars. You can replace the front and the rears (if your model has it).

mine had about 90k miles and looked ok but once i took them off they were very hard and had lost their original shape, its just hard to tell without taking them off.

I was surprised how much better the steering input felt, and how much flatter the car felt cornering, especially since i am not lowered and im on 18 inch wheels.

Install was easy, about 5 min per side while I was doing an oil change.

In my opinion an aftermarket sway bar is not necessary if you upgrade the bushings because its essentially doing the same thing, preventing the bar from moving too much.

Thanks for this review!
It looks diameter is the same for swaybars on 3.7 and 5.0, means that should be identical sway bar in diameter? If you remember what is the inner diameter for ones you installed on your car?

I cant answer that. I do have every bar though that they made for G1, and they do make a difference in body stiffness and roll. Though the best thing you could do is coilovers, but more involved on Gen2 as you have to deal with out of camber adjustment, but I believe there are solution parts available

I dont remember but if you go on their website u can check by make and model or by vin to confirm which one is the right part number.

2-01-1348 Front Sway Bar Bushing 34mm
2-01-1353 Rear Sway Bar Bushing 28mm
Just ordered from Siberian Bushing those are the specs for FX35/FX50/QX70, will report back with handling upon install.

Update: Highly recommend these as an upgrade Night/Day difference. Mileage of old bushings were 58k.
