RECALL CAMPAIGN PASS AIRBAG INFLATOR

I called my local dealer for my 2003, the service advisor said he'll have to place an order for the airbag directly from Japan because for the 03, it VINs specific. Who knows how long!
 
I got a call from the dealer, it is ready to pick up, Im picking it up tomorrow

They found that the front crash sensor is not working and they want $550 to replace it - they are funny especially given that the part is $250 and it takes to remove two nuts to replace it.

Had my passenger side replaced today. Took me longer to repair a broken clip for the kick panel & clean up the tech's paw prints than it would've taken for me to do it myself. Jackasses. I hate dealerships. Took even longer for them to get it done. What a bunch of pansies. When I used to take it to the dealer (long time ago) they always fucked something up.
On the bright side I figured out Krud Kutter works wonders on interior components & on the leather. Much better than any interior cleaner I've used before. Had to reapply conditioner because it stripped it down to the leather, but no color removal (willow colored interior so try a small inconspicuous spot before u go nutz 1st). Who knew? Also got rid of a couple nagging little "interior noises". This glove box is a real noisy sumbitch & so are these stupid seat belt adjusters.
