Rear Wiper rounded cover

2010 Honda Crosstour
Today, I arrived at work and parked my car. I went to open up my rear hatch when I looked at my rear wiper and noticed that the black round cover was missing. I don't know if someone jacked it or if it fell off?

Is it easy to fall off or take off?

It's the part that goes right over bolt.

does anyone have one lying around?

It don't look nice without it.

If anyone has an extra one, let me know how much you want for it.

that sux... I know it snaps it to cover the bolt and exposes so you can remove the arm.
Could it have fell off when you recently clean your fx? or do you think they jacked it from work? (any cameras at work?)

Maybe Rookie has one :wink:

ps... You might want to check your drivers side escutcheon! last time I was over there, he was missing his.....

not sure.

It did not happen at work. Saw when I just got there. Plust I'm the only one with an FX in a company of 1,200 associates.

That little thing has popped off on me a few times. While cleaning the rear window and once just happen to hit it right and it just pops off. Its possible this happen to you and you never saw it. Look around were you usually park at home or work. If lucky you may find it whole...but more likely in pieces.

Hmm...mine has never fallen off or even looked like it was easy to pry off.

Carlos, Bert said the same thing has happened to him.
 
oh wow, sounds like they come off easily. I already looked where I normally park at home and nothing. I have not been at work since last Thursday so nothing there either.

Maybe the wind blew it away on Sat morning? ahhaahaha
 
that wind was harsh. when I opened my door the wind slammed it open really hard.

You guys are mean..:mad::tdown:

I had mine taken twice and it came off once at the car wash.:mad::cool:

My piece just came in about a week ago. You would think that it would be fasten there more securely or designed better. The reason it comes off so easily is because of the replacement of the rear wiper... Only way to replace it is by replacing the whole arm. Just replaced mine about 2 months ago..

Replacing the whole arm. ?? So I guess I won't be able to get that rear window wiper at auto zone huh? Can anyone put the steps on how to do this. Thank you.
 
lmao, no wonder when I went to Autozone they sold me the refill for the front and not the back. So we have to buy the arm from the dealer then?
 
I think theres one for another car that fits our rear......not sure. I dont ever use the rear one. We've had our 2 days of rain already anyways....:err:
