Rear wiper not working

Hey guys, I just bought my car, and I noticed (a week later) that my rear wiper doesn't work. The fluid comes out fine, but I can't get the wiper to do anything.

I originally thought (and hoped) that it was just a blown fuse, but after checking them all, they were all fine.

Is my motor blown? Is this a common problem with the FX's? Has anyone had to replace this before, and if so, how much did it hurt (ie $$$)?

Any ideas?

Take it off lol Rear wiper delete MOD. J/k Take off your rear panel, get a test light and see if there is power going to it when you turn on the switch. If yes then it's the motor and if not, it's the switch on your steering column.

Thanks for the tips. I have checked all 3 fuses (and they're all ok).

I'd like to try testing the power to the motor, but I don't know how to get to it. Do you know of a good write up on getting to the motor? Also, what do you mean by "rear panel"? Are you talking about the inside back door trim?

yep, you'll have to remove the rear hatch panel (or trim as you said) to get to the motor. There might be a write up in the DIY section. I know jbaker put up his step by step when he did his wiper delete.
