Rear Wiper Blade Replacement

glendale infiniti quoted me $22 and they have them in stock. ill check with west co nissan.

Give Joe a shot too - he usually beats out all the other dealers around us - and thats including shipping too.

im just gonna put some Rain-x on my rear window until i get a chance to change the rear wiper...that should keep me good for some time.

i just ordered the blade at west co nissan. 8 something plus tax. i guess infiniti quoted me for the whole thing.

Just received 3 blades from Joe today.
Right wiper - $11.13
Left wiper - $12.89
Rear wiper - $9.13
sub total - $32.15
shipping - $9.49

Total $41.64 for oem Nissan blades.

You own a body shop so you don't deal with that lol!

There is what Nissan/Infiniti suggests you sell something for, and then what the dealership actually sells it for. Every dealership does it, every make, everything.

oh, so is that why sometimes I'll have customers tell me that the dealer quoted them a price that's higher than what I'm showing as list?

I haven't notice, but is there a difference between left and right wiper? (due to the different prices)

one of the wipers is 20" the other is 22" (cant remember which side is what size)

thats probably why theres a price difference

Yep. Body Shops work off suggested. If dealerships sold everything for suggested, they would make no money. Suggested is not much over cost.

How do you install this rear wiper blade? The org is down and I can't find it on this forum.

Someone said snap a plastic piece off - I feel tried and nothing gives, afraid to try more as it feels like it'll break.

Figured it out. Snap off plastic piece where the elbow is (part that connects to the glass). It's a small piece about 1-2 inches long.

This will uncover a bolt, use a socket set, forgot what size and remove the entire assembly.

Replace blade arm or replace blade insert.

It is way too cold outside for any more "Mods" today=) In-cabin air filter and grille mods are for a warmer day.

Remove the plastic cap at the back end off the arm.
Mark the position off the arm on the screw.
Unscrew and remove the wiper now you can replace the wiper easily.
On the fx 35 2005 and similar models you can use the wiper off an Nissan Quashqai in Europe
Hope to have saved some money.
