So I have been doing some mods since jumping into the 2nd gen (2012 FX50S). After selling my 2008 Supercharged FX35.
Love it so far.
Completed:
Aero front chin spoiler
Tinted windows
Wheels
Stereo
remote start
HID Fogs

Now I notice that rear seems to be lacking some LED lights. It looks like Infiniti decided to put in Faux LED brake/tail lights around the back up lights. Geeze.
I heard some Russian ones where cheaply made and has a pink tone.
Anyone doing the conversion?
I'm about to buy a spare set and see if I can get them done.
Would love(as I'm sure everyone would) a PNP set for the rear inners.

Any help or direction would be great.

It shouldn't be difficult to get them custom done, just need the right LED's to match. I was one that bought the cheap Russian ones which were crap and cheaply made. That's the reason the guy probably stopped making them due to complaints on quality.

I ended up buying one light they had on ebay and thought I would play with that and if I can get that dialed in, tackle mine.

I can talk to my friend that did my taillights, Im sure he could do it, I could get a set of lights from work and do a core swap

what shop might i ask in ny? i was going to have a company there do a custom job for my lights as well.. maby we can get a group deal going ..

Its kind of hard to find a shop with 2nd gen tail lid cores since theyre so expensive and no high demand on them. I had asked a local shop to do the leds for me & they told me to buy a set & them theyd work on that. Estimated to be around $450 to do both. It is alot of work & At that price id rather take a hot knife, leds, resistors, sealant to a pair myself & get it done.

The Mechanic is right it has to be done custom and its very hard to find used inner lights unless you buy new. I only saw one in the past 2 years on eBay which I think you bought. There was also a guy from Russia who I contacted about 2 years ago and he was charging $500 plus $150 shipping and you send your OEM lights to him which was ridiculous. Can't seem to find his contact info.

I actually messaged the same guy in russia! Email is ledtechnology@mail.ru
& name is artem.theres photos of an fx done in their website. Theres also a place in rhode island called rihids that does the same
kind of custom work.

Awesome that's him, did he quote you the same price? Only thing I was also iffy on was the quality. Everything always looks good on pics. I got screwed on the lights I got, were so cheaply made and looked like shit but on pics looked awesome. Thats the thing about buying over seas. Spending $500+ and not knowing what you are going to get is the problem.

Yeah around 500 bucks excluding shipping. to do the liftgate lights & the actual tail lights aswell putting leds in every hole that doesnt have em. That was the russian guy. The rhode island place quoted me around 450 just to do the liftgate ones. They actually have an instagram page called rihids with their work, But the only thing id be worried about would be the seal job,if water gets in my lights...
