When I isolated mine, I had my son ride in the back of the trunk while I went driving, took off all the panels and had him ride in the trunk again. It would definitely help to have somebody riding in the back so you can figure exactly where the sound is coming from.
I think I found the rattle.. It's on the left side on the trunk where the factory amp is and there's some other electronic stuff there on the side with bolts Mine weir all loose I could've of moved them with my hands and one of them was broken so I tighten them and now the rattle is gone. Did your car ever been rear ended? Or someone been messing with it back there?
Checked:
E-brake cable =it was tight
rear struts = they weir good
under the spare under the car tthat black box = it was tight
Removed rear seat & deck & seat belts & sub = it wasnt any of that everything was tight and
good
Everything under the car was tight
*tighten the bolts on the left side in the trunk near the factory amp and the amp bolts and so far the rattle is gone.
