I went to change out my license plate today on my FX35. As the old license plate had been on the vehicle for a while, the screws holding the rear license plate were rusted. I couldn't get them to budge. I even tried WD-40. Finally, I took my cordless drill with with a screwdriver bit and was able to loosen both screws. Yah! :smile (2): And then I realized both screws were now stripped and/or broken. :eek.::eek.::eek.::eek.: No amount of turning will get them to come out. I tried putting a pliers on them and turning and pulling but no luck. Short of going to the dealer, what do I do?

Hey Pat, take a look at this post ///8575. Basically, you drill out the broken nut and bolt. Go to your local harsware store and get two rubber well nut that fit into your drilled out hole. It works for me and I think it also helped Jeff.
