Rear glass removal?

Hey all.....I have good glass in a cracked rear hatch. Called one local shop and they wanted $125 and no guarantee against cracking to remove it. Anyone know how to remove? Other suggestions?

A shop will never guarantee intact glass on removal in most cases. I assume you can minimize the chance by cutting out the weather strip prior to the attempted removal.
