If you look at the sub frame from the back of the FX underneath you will see what I'm talking about. The hanger is the stud from the diff, the nut attaches the diff to the sub frame. :smile (2):

Can't blow a solid bushing. Working with whiteline to see if their bushing kit can be used on the FX. hurdle is the sleeve is made for the G/Z stud which is smaller than the FX.

Yep, poly bushings. They make diff kits as well as sub frame kits. Various arm kits for the G/Z. Not sure which ones work for the FX. We have a few differences on the subframe compared to the car platforms.

ok it was dark the other day, and now its morning and i think i know what ur talking about, the nut faces onto the ground ill take a pix to clarify but, i checked both 19mm and 17. Its definitely 17mm nut

Perfect thank you. Matches mine so I didn't change covers, we must have just bored out the solid bushing to fit the larger stud.

It is 19mm.

This what I was referring to Andy. I'm working with a performance shop "Project X" in Schamburg and he seems to believe the Zs bushings from Whiteline is identical. He will measure both when he gets them in and we will see I'll let you guys know unless someone has already confirm this?

Can we call this the "Like-D-GTR" mod? LMAO. Seriously, this is a maintenance/repair upgrade. These are solid poly bushing instead of the stock rubber. It may last longer?

Pretty sure the center tube the aftermarket bushings comes with won't fit the FX stud. One time we accidentally put a FX cover onto a G35 and the stud wouldn't fit into the hole of the G35 bushing, the tolerance of the bushing mount needs to be fairly tight so the diff is correctly supported.
