Is it possible to get the stock rear camera input to work with a aftermarket head unit? Tried looking around the board but it seems that everyone that puts cameras didn't originally have them from factory. I'm planning on moving the display on my 06 down to the clock area and putting my double din unit in the original display location but I'm thinking it may be a bit strange to look down behind the shifter to see behind me.

I'm pretty sure the rear camera is composite, so it should be possible to intercept the signal & run it to the after market head unit if it has a camera input. you can dl the diagrams from the factory service manual at infinitihelp.com & try it, should work I think. the wires are going to the av module behind the glove box I think

Its 100%. Maybe you have to by-pass rear cam module but I'm sure that skilled electrician will manage.
You may also consider replace the oem camera with aftermarket one to your new radio. For example Alpine has a fish-eye lens that's work much better than OEM!
