yea, I did it! Took it off and back with no issues.
Spend some time - 8 hrs (and 3 beers ;) but result is really nice
Pics soon!
PS. I still didn't connect the switch!
Does somebody knows what colour cable in the VDC off button is (+) Need it to illuminate the fog light switch.

I was thinking doing something like this too. One of my reflector has a crack in it. Plan on replacing it and put some led strips in them. Love to see how yours turn out.

sry - left my camera in garage :/ Will be there at evening ( for about 5hrs ) so be able to upload few photos. IMO looks good.

I needed these lamps for two reasons -
first - European law regulations
and
second - my safety. Once I've been driving in such a fog ( 5m of visibility) and got between two trucks. Unfortunately rear lights of FX has poor visibility when looked from angle :/ Then I was really worried about my safety. Being smashed by trucks is nice experience.

If I do this I probably run all the wire from the tail lights. I'll try to make it so it works with the directional, hazard, brake lights.:) just an Idea..

By the way I'm glad the unistall and installing back the bumper when well..

I will connect rear fog light to the rear side marker, so the light will work only with the lights on! I just draw the schema and will finish the installation today. You have forced me ;)

Short clip - how it works and looks / connected to the battery ;) /

For front or rear bumper removal the best tip I can give you or anyone else that reads this because I see that you are already done :tongue (2): is if you live anywhere with winter and salt, Pick up the metal retainers between the fender and bumper from the dealer .

I have done both front and rear bumpers on my FX and my retainers were almost non existant they were so rusty, a bolt broke inside one and it took an extra hour to drill it out .

Thanks for info. My retainers was good but Ive broken a lot of clips :)

Front bumper removal soon. Wanna instal light washers. Any tips except those retainers?

Hey Trojan, would you tell me how you take the reflector apart from it backing? I was thinking of using a dremel tool to cut the glue to separate the len and backing.
