I recently have noticed when stopping and kind of grinding noise from rear end and even when i start to drive i will hear the grind based on my rear passenger wheel spinning. This told me it was the rotor or brake assembly, so when i looked at the brakes i noticed the driver side rear pad looked nice and thick while the passenger rear brake pad looked almost like the metal was up against the rotor causing terrible grind noise when braking and shortly after when accelerating till wheel spinning pushes pad off wheel. My question is why did only one side wear so bad? Did brake caliper seize up on me? Im confused as to why all other brakes have plenty of pad life and this one is metal on metal.
