Looking for the turbocad ball joint adapters so I can do the rear akebono bbk upgrade. If anyone has them for sale please let me know.
So I ended up finding an alternative solution (so I'm told), apparently conceptZperformance sells the ball joint seat you need to change to s51 knuckles. If anyone is interested here is the link:
https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-infiniti-infiniti-oem-rear-lower-upper-ball-joint-seat-fx50-09-13-40173 eg000_p_26108.php#description
This will not work with the S50 upper arms, the ones turbocad had machined were the outter diameter of the ones posted but the inner was machined fot the taper of the S50 upper arm ball joints
Talked to someone at conceptzperformance and they sent me a link to this part saying it would work and have done it apparently. I already have the S51 Knuckles, going to be installing the rear brakes next year at this point so hopefully I can find a solution by then.
Comparing pictures is this a situation where close enough is good enough?
Here is the original thread
G37 / FX50 Akebono Brake Retrofit
they start talking about the balljoint seats in post #70 its written that the custom one is need but I dont see anything about why the OEM doesnt work

I gave up on finding these, so went ahead and upgraded the rear brakes without changing the knuckles. Pads are sitting about half an inch above the rotors. Been 6 months already. Very happy with braking power.
Just my 2 cent...
For anyone interested wanted to confirm this does work you don't need custom ball joint adapters. Been driving around for a couple days now without any issues.
You will need to get these ball joint adapter/cones, I've had the rear breaks on for a few months now with no issues. Goodluck.Hi...I'm looking to do this also and I already have the S51 knuckles like you did. Just wanted to confirm you did install the knuckles w/o the ball joint adapters and it works fine...thx man
Thanks their just from aliexpressAlso..btw where did u get the infiniti center caps to fit your custom wheels? It looks great!
