Rattle Can Paint Job (Ultraleggera's)

Jeff, how did you manage 4x8.5" wide rims? I see them sold staggered on tirerack. Would the 20x10 et25 be too wide for us? Stick out past the fender? If not I'm really considering the 20x10's if I can manage to get a set of 4 and then powder coat them black...

Edit: based on offset calculator... 10mm extra going inward and an extension of 40mm OUT? Like using 40mm spacers on stock 20's???

You can add all, then adjust the quantity on the shopping cart. Just reduce the quantity of 20x10 to zero and 20x8.5 to 4. I wish the 20x10 came in around 30-35 offset. I wouldn't even think about 22s if it was..

Btw, if you select a lexus GS as the car, there's 20x10 +35 ultraleggeras but they're $439 a piece. Can't you get these and then ask for Infiniti centering rings from tirerack?

i like i like, any pix on your ride ?

nope, not yet.

Yup, as EG3 stated, just edit the cart quantity on check out.

If you find the right dealer you probably can. But they really don't like selling anything that changes it from their stock way of selling it. When I told them I was putting these on an FX the guy said he will mark that down on the invoice and it will probably affect a return if I had to return them.

That's retarded... hmphhh...

Yeah I really want the 20x10's, especially at that killer price... maybe if I go wide-body I can still do it? Thanks for the info on how to order.

^^^ looks hot it looks like 22"s care to share a bigger pics of it on ur car plsss how much did it run you for the set up?? are you running 265 50 20???

Once I fix up the car and cut the springs I will show better pics. (Whenever that may be:frown:). Tires are 275/40/20's.

Heck with it, here is a bigger pic, (Gap Kills:tongue:) - Eventually it will be dropped more.

^^ downside of 275/40s = more gap.. I got used to it but I think I wouldn't do it if I didn't have the 22s.. Also I still like those Ultraleggeras.. If I ever sell the 22s or OEMs, I'll get those in 20x10 size.. Yours look very good, btw

Thanks, you should get the 20x10's less weight and on sale :fever:... 275/40 is a hot tire though minus the gap, nothing a little cutting won't take care of.

right

the rim looks good in a 20, just overall it does't have enough meat to it

one of the first thing to turn me onto the FX is how enormous the wheels and tires look.

if they keep getting smaller it'll start to like like this

I agree w/ the small tire... ever since my lil experiment with smaller tires (I went way more extreme than Jeff here) I do love the fatty rubber look:

(that's lowered on Eibachs btw)
