Rare JDM Engine Harness Cover

I don't know that many shops that do it. I have done it for friends but never charged anyone, caskyline tucks G35s for like 400.00 I think. There's a main engine harness, and then there are accessory harnesses. The FX passenger side harness is in that little box thing, driver side comes out the brake compartment.

It can be done quick and fast, or you can be as anal as you want. The ones I've done I take off each connector and use tech flex sleeving on each connector as far back as I can.

There are only a few that have totally hidden the grommet coming into the engine bay at the back of the firewall. this takes welding and paint work.

I think this is a great alternative to cutting up an engine cover or having to get a Z cover for us with the Kinetix Racing Plenum. Look forward to possible group buy!!!

AWD's have two harnesses (not my pic)

Not sure where they go but I rerouted one of my wires around the rear when I reinstalled my plenum after the s/c'r, It was connected to the battery.

Tried to clean it up a bit and get rid of all the extra brackets and grounds.

I see now, that's cause the starter is on the other side. On the RWD the alternator daisy chains to the starter on the single line coming out of the battery compartment.

why is the polished $115 and the painted ones $125? usually the other way around

they are powdercoated, not painted, which costs more to produce as they are done in smaller batches

The other place, not Z1, was selling it for $100.

could be, but our price includes shipping :) When you add it up it comes out the be the same $115 shipped

our price for IS members is $115 shipped as well

we have a few matte black/black chrome arriving in the next week or so, polished right now looks like end of September for eta

as far as a group buy, all comes down to how many people - we would need 20 to bring the cost down below where it is right now

Got a notification that Z1 refunded the handling charge (from 122.50). Final price was $115 shipped...
