My name is Mark, I have a QX70S Design, July 2017 build.
It's a great car but I've unfortunately had a number of unexpected warranty issues (faulty passenger seat warning alarm, prematurely weathered headlamps) and now an electrical problem with a parasitic battery drain, leaving the battery flat when the car's left idle for a number of days; I've isolated it the Room Lamp circuit.

I have the same issue on my 2004 FX35 after replacing the Alternator and battery. Ran great for two days then it just suddenly stalled and the next day flat battery. How did you trace it?

I had a similar issues. Turned out to be my crappy aftermarket HID fogs. Replaced them with morimoto LEDs from theretrofitsource and its been good since.

Infiniti did a leakage test and couldn't find any problems; apparently you need to wait longer than I did before doing the test as the car takes a long time to actually shut most things down.
Ended up being the not so old, crappy battery that couldn't hold a charge, they recommended a higher capacity battery. I've since replaced the battery myself (theirs was a stupid price) and all is OK.

That's great news I'm glad your issue was resolved. I've replaced alternators and batteries on older American cars from the 70's and I've never had any problems. Todays cars have so many sensors it's almost over kill. Having to teach the car by doing the pedal dance and all that in my opinion is terrible. The manufacture should put an eprom in the car with all the factory settings already loaded so all you have to do is let the car run and idle for 10 minutes.
When I replaced the alternator I torqued everything down to factory and then this happens. I replaced my original factory battery 4 years ago. The original battery was in the car for over 13 years till I moved to Las Vegas. I also replaced the starter all the shocks struts and even the rear subframe. Throttle body. I've always kept up and on time with all the scheduled maintenance and services. Radiator flushes, transmision, brake fluid flushes, even Infinity said I've really taken good care of my car. The bubbling of the dash is a minimal because I found when I put Armorall on the dash is when it all started so I stopped and only used warm soapy water which stopped it. As for the door locks I found that it's just a crappy
capacitor.

You're talking about a company that doesn't even bother updating their design in better part of 2 decades! (The interior has not changed!) How do you expect them to install an eprom in anything? lol
