Quick tire help...

i came across a set of used Toyo Proxes S/T, the owner is claiming 90-95% tread (i'll measure to verify). The full set of 4 is only $300. I "need" 2 tires, but would prefer to buy all 4 if i can get them for the same price. looking around here, i see a lot of complaints about these tires being loud & humming...

any current/previous owners of these tires please feel free to give some feedback asap. i'm meeting the guy in a couple of hours to buy!

in case anyone was wondering...

the tires were advertised, tons of tread on them. they had basically between 8-9/32nds all the way around. lots of life left for only $300.

buyers remorse...
if anyone is looking for info on the toyo proxes s/t, here it is: don't buy them! they completely suck and i wish i listened to my gut instead of my wallet. they are so damn loud and it is at all speeds, not just the highway. in fact, i haven't even been on the highway yet & am not looking forward to it. i've only been driving around town and all i can hear and feel is these shitty tires...

1st Gen Toyos are great for a few months, & then they go noisy & lose grip. Too bad no one chimed in on this for you. Redesigned Proxes STIIs however are good & quiet.
