Question to: All GTR wheel owners

I think I always remembered it just as 25 front and 27 rear for simplicity, but someone told me they found the 23 online so I don't know.

mine were 24.5 front and like 27.85 rear.

p.s. Mine are now for sale ;) full set, painted dark gunmetal, almost new tires, $2750 including 20mm spacers for the front..they are MINT

What's up guys. I got a question for the gtr rims. I want to put 265 50 20 all around. Will I have problems with the awd. I know the tires in the rear will get stretched but don't wanna have awd issues any help appreciated

If you do 295/45 rear and 265/50 front you wonT have AWD problems. Those two sizes have the exact same height of the wheel. The AWD system does not sense how much wider the rear tires are, only if the tires are the same height front/rear. In the case of 295/45 rear 265/50 they are the same (30.x" I believe)

265/50/20 tire is made for a 7.5-9.5 inch wide rim. The rear GTR is a 10.5 inch wide rim.

You could fit it on there, if you really want. Some tire shops might not mount it, and it could effect the handling. But, to answer your question, it should not affect the AWD since all tires are exactly the same.

265/50 up front and 295/45 out back is still the best overall option.

Lance has 10.5 gtrs all around and his front tires are also 265/50. He seems happy

Most prefer to have a meatier tire in the back. Especially since it won't mess with the AWD system

Are you sure he has 265/50 up front? I thought he had smaller sized tires.

Really? Scratch that then. I thought you said/read somewhere that the fronts were narrower. No rubbage issues running that wide and on coils?

I just put my stock Bridgestones (265 50 r 20s) on my new GTRs and they fit perfecty, they look great and the ride perfectly.

If your getting GTRs and you have 20s, I wouldn't waste time trying to sell yours. I'd mount yours stock tires and then go wider when they wear out.

I just purchases a set of GTR wheels. They came with some rusty lugs that fit, but I want to get a nice set that match the dark hyper gray wheels. I also want to get a set of locking nuts.

If I go to Nissan, can I just buy a set of OEM GTR lugs and locking nuts? Will they fit? (possible length problem?????)

Thanks,

Ray's lugs in gunmetal are very nice and match the wheels well. Super lightweight, I suggest hand wrench only as they are soft. You can find them under $100.00 if you look around.

You don't have to. But the lug channel is only about an 1" wide from what I recall so make sure the lugs/lug key are not wider than that
