I dont completely understand the whole towing situation... if your car is RWD, you have to get towed from the back, if it were a cherry picker obviously right? And the car must be in neutral etc.. etc.. but what about an AWD? And also, what can happen if a car is towed the wrong direction? Sorry for the newb questions...:embarrassed:

it must be doable to tow with drive wheels on the ground. ever seen those rv's with a jeep or something towed behind em with all 4 wheels on the ground?

not sure about RWD but AWD towing with any wheels on the ground is a big no no. it should say in your owners manual or im sure someone with an RWD can chime in

When towed behind an RV there is a mechanical disconnect that is added to the FX drive train. It is rather costly to add. (My in laws tow a H3.)

FXs arent meant to be towed. Maybe if you are in a Q7, X5, or Cayenne and lose a race to an FX and ur too ashamed to drive it back.
