Question from a new fx owner

Hey, just purchased an 04 fx 35 that has a hugh key (smart key), my question is if I bought the key fob to the 06 fx would I be able to program the newer key to work with my 04?

The answer to your question is resounding no. They are not interchangeable. Many in the past have asked and tried. Sorry but you are stuck with that brick.
 
ive seen this question before and i believe the answer was no. it seems like old/new designs are rarely cross-compatible in FX's
 
As the guys before me have said - NO.
05 was the first year the iKey was introduced.
I remember there was a guy that took the internals from the "Brick" and shaved it down to fit into the iKey casing - but thats the only way to do it.
