Question For Paddle Shifter Guys

My installer said while transferring the steering angle sensor from the old steering hub to the new one might have lost the steering angle setting. Now the car is throwing this code. Did anyone of you get this code? The dealer wants $150 to reset it. Is it possible disconnect the batter and have it reset by itself?
 
I remember one guy had an issue here, can't remember who, think they had a problem with the wheel position sensor being installed wrong... only that one, all the others had no issues with this... I can't remember exactly what it was, maybe the sensor was installed upside down or something... then they got it straightened out... I'll dig threw my pm's & see if I still have anything on it...
 
Just picked up my car. First, thanks Turbocad6. This thing not only looks great. It works great too. I couldn't stop playing with it driving back to work. The installer pulled the code and it said steering wheel angle sensor. Now my VDC Off light & slip light is on. He said it needs to be resetted. He said he knows a Nissan tech that might be able to do it on the side.
 
your welcome, enjoy them :) I just looked through my pm's & can't find anything but I know one guy had a similar issue... wish I knew the cause so I can add a caution about this to my instructions but like I said, most followed them & had no issues? I'm not really sure what caused this, the transfer of the position switch is pretty straight foward really...

he had the position switch installed 180* off I think...
