Excited to be back in a 2010 Infiniti FX50. I owned an '09 back in 2012 but traded it in when I just couldn't manage the 4.75/gal premium pricing. But since then, I haven't owned anything that came close to the experience I had with the V8.

So I sourced a 2010 in Florida that was a recent trade in. 1 owner, immaculate service records so I hopped on a plane, bought the car, had Infiniti do an oil change and safety inspection, and drove home 15 hours to PA.

The car is approaching 100k, so what type of upgrades should I expect in the next service?

I'd read the Infiniti scheduled maintenance 100k guide, a quick google search should get you results.

How's it running after your long trip home?

Congrats, by the way.

It runs like a champ! It was an amazing drive back - longest I've done on my own and drove like a beast. Cruised between 65-75mph (stayed under 10 mph over speed limit) and made it home in 2.5 fill ups. I was averaging about 500 miles per tank on cruise control, so I was pretty happy about that. The AC condenser makes a little noise when kicked on but full operational.

When I got back, I changed all of the filters, did the brake and power steering fluid exchange. At my next oil change, I'll most like swap out the spark plugs, transfer case oil, tire rotation, and have them install my front strut bar. I noticed the side mirrors vibrated a bit at high speeds but should be an easy fix.

I will probably look for AV upgrades including bluetooth swap. The bluetooth on here is terrible and cuts out a ton. I'd be interested to see what others have switched their AV unit out with, if anything at all.

Thanks for the congrats - really love having the V8 as a weekend car.
