Problem with RAYS engineering anodized lug nuts stripping

Lol. Mine were $125 cash from a friend who owns a shop. They can be had for cheaper though. Just check vendors on my350z, such as statik.

Aluminum lug nuts suck to me. Over time with removal and reinstall (I may do this more than others with cleaning the inside of the wheel) They strip, cross thread, and or seize. Most anodizing will eventually fade Rays duras are really bad, red becomes pink, blue becomes light blue, and black is gray.

But gun metal always stays gun metal!

I prefer just plain steel lug nuts. Nismo slims are nice, 7 sided so not your typical socket can open them.

Plane black steel lug nuts. http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=5360
Nismo slim lug nuts. http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=5363

For colored ones I have these. Steel and extended close ended. http://www.gotuning.com/product_info.php?cPath=17_69&products_id=952

Not knocking rays, just have so many beat up ass rays alum lug nuts that it seems pointless to buy them. The Rays Formula lug nuts are not aluminum.

the nismo slims are nice but I cant find them in any other color. Do they come in other colors like gunmetal or silver? Do you just use the socket the provide you with to put on and take off?
