Power steering rack failure

I just want to give an update. Replaced the steering rack with a remanufactured one off of amazon. I am happy to say that the issue is fixed and the QX70 feels like a million bucks again!

total bill was less than $900 with installation.
 
Glad you found your fix... found the problem with my issue with the stiff steering. ended up being a seized up caliper caused the steering to tighten up at turns and car was dragging.

Would you be able to post the part number from Amazon. I can't seem to find anything.
 
I’m hearing this noise too along with another noise when I brake and take off. I just got both lower arms replaced and the bushings. I can’t upload a video but I recorded it.
