This just might work with a single turbo setup.
 
Twin charged.......I think?

SuperCharger & Turbo.

the SC kicks in right away - no lag. great for off the line.
Turbo kicks in the mid/upper RPM's (depending on the size of the snails)

I remember a 1st gen MR2 that had that - it was a white one.
 
I thought such system becomes stupid once the turbo spools, since your supercharger will limit the air intake and therefore prevent good power?
Something like this would work well if the supercharger could be by-passed once the turbo is at full spool
