I finally received my Powder Coated Fujita Short Ram Intake!!!!!:tup: Thanks for the recomendation Dopie!!!!!!!! FYI..... Fujita only charges $10 for a powder coated finish!!!!! Available in Black PC and Bronze PC. Sweet deal for a little over $200 with free shipping!!!!!!
 
nice, imo the powder coated version looks much more appealing and blended. have you done an ECU reset and do you noticed any gains yet?
 
No I haven't done a reset yet but plan to in the next week or 2...... Substantial gains 0ver 4k+ RPM range. Usually my ride screams "shift me" at 4k; but now it's at 5k!!! Sounds great too!!!!:biggrin:

I wonder why they decided to curve it downward on the end instead of straight. (just thinking out loud)
 
I think it was steve from LMS that said they lost power or didn't get as much when they had their intake go down. Thats why they ended up keeping it up high. I think if you leave the plastic molding from the air duct on their it might help direct some colder air into that general area. Does look nice though and I always love that intake sound "sssswouuup"

I agree with you on the heat factor. Jumbo and I took a look at it on Saturday and there is alot of heat coming off of the engine and fan. He suggested a heat shield which I will look into today. I haven't lost any power; but have seen considerable gains. I think I will try the OEM box trick and see what happens. Thanks for the insight!!!!
