Possible to polish the exterior plastic trim (Front, Rear botttom bumper)

Hi FXers
Today, when I was washing my car, I found my front and rear bottom bumper (lower textured plastic area) are scuffed up. It has many scratches at different area.　I am wondering if there is anyway to polish them off or make these scraches not Inconspicuous。

The only options are replacing the entire bumper cover or having the trims properly prepped and painted smooth (thereby losing the texture).
 
there is a special black trim paint that leaves a factory look texture (and matt finish )
I'll try to find out the producer.
 
There's no good DIY solution for this besides actually refinishing the trim. Scratch repair products are not going to work and touch-up products are not appropriate.

The "right way" to do this is to remove the trim and then sand out the scratches (or fill them if really bad), then re-paint the trim with an appropriate paint. A couple FX owners here on the scene have had all the trim prepped and painted to match the body color. IMO it's a really nice look - just a bit expensive to have done properly. The texture of the trim needs to be uniform and that requires essentially removing the texture down to the same level as the deepest scratches you have.

I did try sanding out a scratch one time on the lower front bumper under the fog lights. The sandpaper works fine, but leaves a white shadow area. I used a lighter to gently "melt" the white shadow away. Leaving the lighter in one place too long melts the plastic and leaves a shiny area - also not good. Like I said - it's a tough DIY. I'd leave this one to a pro.

NO! you can not take scratches out of plastic! clean it good with some citrus cleaner & apply a good trim restore like Black Wow! LOL!:tonguey:
